Frequently Asked Questions

I need to get a crown/filling, but I’m afraid it will be too noticeable. Can you help me?

Of course! We understand that it’s important to our patients that their restorative treatments also offer cosmetic benefits that help their smile stay natural-looking. That’s why our crowns are mainly created from Zirconia and E.max. The materials used for these restorations are durable, long-lasting, and best of all, nearly identical to the look of a regular tooth.

Do you see children?

We welcome entire families to the office of Dr. James Williams, DDS, and our team is happy to help get your child started on the path toward lifelong oral health with the help of gentle check-ups and cleanings. While serious developmental issues may need to be handled by a pediatric dentist, we can offer effective, comfortable treatment in most cases.

Do you place dental implants?

Yes! In most cases, Dr. Williams is able to both place and restore dental implants for our patients, which simplifies their treatment process and allows them to attend all of their appointments in our cozy, familiar office atmosphere instead of traveling elsewhere. However, in situations where there isn’t enough adequate bone for the implant, we may need to recommend the services of a trusted specialist for the surgical portion of your treatment.

Why do I need an oral cancer screening?

Oral cancer may not be discussed in the dentist’s office as much as cavities or gum disease, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t dangerous. In fact, only half of the patients diagnosed with the condition will go on to live more than five years. That’s why our office is devoted to watching out for its presence during your regular appointment. With the help of an oral cancer screening, we can effectively test any suspicious areas within your mouth and catch the presence of the disease as quickly as possible.

Do you accept insurance?

We do accept PPO. We are an out of network office. Please take a look at our New Patients page to learn more about payment options.
